Tide Height

The mean sea level is defined for offshore towers. Internally, the mean sea level (elevation of the sea surface) is by default assumed to be at \(z=0\) m in the global coordinate system. The mean sea level may be adjusted to account for a tide height, without requiring adjustments to the position of the structure in global coordinates, by specifying the height of the tide directly. Click the Sea state icon on the toolbar, select Tide and specify the change in mean sea level. For example, specifying a tide height of 1 m will increase the mean sea level to \(z=1\) m in the global coordinate system.
