Welcome to the Bladed 4.15 theory documentation.

Bladed is an integrated software package for wind turbine performance and loading calculations. It is used for both steady and dynamic analyses of a range of wind turbine systems from onshore to offshore fixed and floating. The software integrates a collection of engineering models such as multibody structural dynamics, aerodynamic and hydrodynamic loading and control system dynamics.

The theory manual gives full background information and details of the calculation methods used for turbine performance and loading calculations.
