    The SolarFarmer Calculation Reference

    The headered pages of this section attempt to introduce the reader to the general flow and algorithmic details of the energy calculation implemented in SolarFarmer (Irradiance, Conversion, Inverter, AC Collection, and Summary Results).

    This section is organised to follow the SolarFarmer yield calculations in the order in which they are carried out - the various sections ordered to match the calculation stages shown in the SolarFarmer Effects diagram as shown in the figure below.

    To aid the flow of the documentation, details of specific algorithms used at each stage are not included in this text; these are instead described in detail in the Theory pages.
