Bladed Concept Models
Introduction
Outlined in this document is the updated range of WTG models included in WindFarmer: Analyst, including their thrust, power, and rotor speed curves. This selection of concept models was chosen for the purpose of representing a full, indicative range of the current state-of-the-art of modern WTG models across onshore and offshore applications. These concept models have been produced by DNV as representations of realistic WTGs for use in several applications. As such, the turbine models and controllers are not an exact match of specific models built by turbine OEMs.
The representative WTG models built by DNV use publicly accessible data and data supplied by customers (dimensions, mass, frequencies, operational parameters) and they have different levels of validation, depending on the design and measurements availability.
Power curves and thrust coefficient have been calculated for a range of windspeeds with 10% turbulence using the Bladed wind turbine design software

Wind turbine models - model overview
The turbine models follow the naming convention: “DNV Bladed Concept Model XX-MW YY-Diameter”.
